PAYMENT
Deposit: Debit or Credit Card for total estimated rental charges, plus taxes & fees and up to 15%, may apply at rental counter staff discretion. Cash Deposit rentals require 24 hour advance reservation and pre-authorization by a supervisor. Should you have any questions, or require cash deposit pre authorization contact the diplomat office directly at 877.457.4337. Minimum charge: one day’s rental plus other charges, taxes and fees. diplomat does not accept PRE PAID CREDIT CARDS or personal checks unless cleared by management.

 

RENTAL TIME CALCULATION
Rental time begins when the vehicle is checked out (picked up) and ends upon the return of the vehicle to the original rental depot. The daily rate is based on a 24 hour clock. Overtime rates begin and continue each day up to the daily rate being reached. Once the overtime rate reaches the daily rate, the daily rate will be charged. Weekly rentals are calculated the same way. THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD for the rental charges unless pre-approved by management.

 

SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Diplomat offers a courtesy airport shuttle to and from all McCarran Airport terminals from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. For our VIP guest there will be a 24 hour limo pick-up, which must be pre-arranged through our office. For more information call 877.457.4337.

 

INSURANCE INFORMATION
The rental rates include state minimum liability insurance. You may purchase $1,000,000 of liability insurance, SLI for $50.00 per day. SLI becomes mandatory if the renters own insurance is not transferable to the rental vehicle. Proof of insurance is required at the time of the rental.

 

CASH DEPOSIT RENTALS
Cash deposit rentals require pre-approval. Contact diplomat rental office directly at 877.457.4337.

 

MILEAGE
First 100 miles are free, 75 cents per mile thereafter and $1.75 for exotics. Restrictions apply within the following states: California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. Vehicles may not be taken outside of the United States. Diplomat DOES NOT ALLOW ONE WAY RENTALS unless preapproved by management.

 

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional drivers are permitted at no additional charge. Age requirements are 25 for exotics and 21 for other vehicles.

 

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
We prefer American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards as forms of payment for the rental deposit, security deposit (pre-authorization only), and rental fees.
