Most people searching for a luxury car rental already have a shortlist, and it's usually the same four: a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a Mercedes-Maybach, a Lamborghini Urus, or a Mercedes G63 G-Wagon.
They are not interchangeable. They cost different amounts, they carry different numbers of people, and — more to the point — they say different things when you pull up. Here's how to pick.

Now the detail.
Arrivals where the photograph matters. Weddings, milestone anniversaries, red-carpet events, high-stakes client pickups. The Cullinan is the only vehicle on this list that reads as formal from a hundred feet away, and the Black Badge version adds the darker, more contemporary treatment without losing that.
It's large, it's serene, and it's designed to be experienced from any seat. Rear doors, rear space and ride quality are the point. What it isn't is subtle — a Cullinan at a casual dinner is a statement whether you intended one or not.
You're driving mountain switchbacks for fun, or your group is six people. It's a four-passenger experience in practice, not a shuttle.
The single most underrated booking in luxury rental. If the plan involves a driver, or you're moving executives between a hotel and a convention center, the Maybach is the correct vehicle and it costs half what a Cullinan does.
The S 680 is the sedan — reclining rear seats, executive rear cabin, and the quietest interior in the fleet. The GLS 600 is the SUV version, which gives you the same rear-seat treatment with more headroom and more luggage space.
At $649 a day and $449 for four hours, it's priced below the G-Wagon and well below the Cullinan while arguably delivering the best passenger experience of the four. There's also a Maybach S 580 in the fleet at $449 a day, which is the cheapest genuine ultra-luxury entry point you'll find in this market.
You want to be seen driving. The Maybach's whole design philosophy points at the back seat.
The person who wants an SUV but doesn't want to give up the driving. The Urus is quick, loud in the right way, and sits low enough to feel like a sports car through corners — which none of the others on this list do.
Three versions sit at different price points: the standard Urus at $849/day, the Novitec Wide Body at $949/day, and the Mansory Wide Body at $1,399/day. The wide-body cars are dramatically more aggressive visually, and they're the ones that get booked for content and event work specifically because they photograph as one-off builds rather than showroom stock.
You need four adults comfortable for three hours. It's tighter inside than the badge suggests, and the ride is firm by design.
Groups, gear, weather, and presence on a budget. The Brabus G63 at $699/day is the value proposition of the whole luxury tier, and the G63 4x4 Squared at $799/day is the one people stop and photograph in parking lots.
The boxy shape is instantly recognizable in any frame from any angle, which is why it dominates music video and social content bookings. It's also the most practical of the four in snow, heat or rough pavement — relevant if you're renting in Boise in February or Scottsdale in July.
You want a quiet ride. It's a lot of car, and it drives like one.
Wedding or formal event: Cullinan first, Maybach GLS 600 second. Both photograph beautifully and both handle formalwear without a fight.
Convention or client entertainment: Maybach S 680 if you're hosting, G-Wagon if you're the one driving. In Las Vegas during CES in January or SEMA in November, either beats waiting for a car service.
Bachelor or bachelorette weekend: G-Wagon. Group capacity plus presence, and the price leaves room for a second vehicle.
Birthday, anniversary or date night: Urus or Mansory Urus. This is the one to drive yourself.
Photoshoot or music video: Mansory or Novitec Urus for the hero shots, G-Wagon for anything that needs to read instantly, Cullinan for luxury and bridal briefs.
Scenic drive or road trip: Cullinan or Maybach GLS 600 for comfort over distance, G-Wagon if the route involves elevation, weather, or unpaved sections.
